Mommy's Little Helper

I caught Kate using her little vacuum the other day after I had been cleaning the house. If only she was big enough to use the real one....

Happy Memorial Day

Beach Time (Part 2)

Here's pictures from the last day and a half of the beach. As you can see, Kate was very content on the beach. She loved jumping the waves! It was so sad to see the weekend end.

Also, Sam and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on Friday. It's hard to believe it's been 5 years already! We went out to dinner at Bahama Bobs (does it get any more romantic?) while Kate stayed at the condo with Gran & Papa. :)

Kate didn't mind walking around the sand today with a little help from her water shoes.

Fun In the Sun (Part 1)

Every Memorial Weekend, we go to the beach with Sam's family. This year was fun since it's the first year Kate was aware of the beach. The first two days we didn't go to the beach much due to the weather, but we managed to spend a little time there. Kate also had fun in getting her feet in the pool (the water was freezing!) and playing in the condo. The first day on the beach, she did not like getting her feet in the sand or water. By the end of the weekend though, she loved splashing her feet in the ocean. More pics to come...

YUM!

Need I say more?

One Year Pics

We got back Kate's 1 year pictures from Saturday. I don't know how we escaped the rain on Saturday morning, but somehow, we managed to get in a quick photo session at the Botanical Gardens with our favorite photographer, Erin.

Also, you may notice, we could not get Kate to stop clapping her hands in a lot of the pictures. She thought it was so much fun when we would try to get her attention and it would invoke non-stop clapping! :)

The Best Gift

The best gift on Mother's Day by far was Kate. Every day, I think about what a sweet child I have. I do have to admit that the morning at the spa was a great runner-up though!
