Happy Birthday Gran!

For Gran's 60th birthday, we had lunch at our house on Sunday to celebrate. The pink strawberry cake was the highlight among those under the age of 5! Happy Birthday Gran.

Little Buddies

Kate & Anna Kate played together a few weeks ago, and they had a blast!

Having a ball playing on the couch together.

A Girl's Best Friend

I've been behind on blogging, and forgot to post some pictures from 2 weeks ago. Kate loves Mattie as you can see. Mattie is extremely patient and lets Kate pretty much do anything to her. Kate likes to give Mattie lots of hugs!

Kate thinks it's so funny when she sticks her hands in Mattie's mouth. She just giggles hysterically when Mattie nibbles or licks her hands. Good thing Mattie doesn't mind the antagonizing!

Tea for Two

For Gran's birthday, Haley and I took pictures of Kate & Laura Ann in their matching dresses. The "photo shoot" was a little chaotic at first, but Haley was thinking ahead and brought a tea set. It managed to hold their attention for about three minutes and we snapped as quickly as possible! I think the pictures of the two little cousins turned out so sweet!

Golf anyone?

Since it's been nice out, Kate and I have been playing outside in the evenings before Sam gets home. When Sam got out his golf club this evening, it reminded me that Kate got a set of clubs for Christmas last year from Grandpa. We got the golf clubs out and Kate had lots of fun! She loved more than anything throwing the golf balls in the street instead of practicing her swing! :)

One Last Trip to the Beach

We took one last trip to the beach to end the summer over Labor Day. Kate loved the beach and couldn't get enough of the water. She would run straight for the ocean. When she wasn't running for the waves, she was busy collecting sea shells, playing with random kids, and chasing birds. We had so much fun at the beach, that we didn't even make it to the pool the entire weekend. Such a nice way to end the summer!

Kate figured out how to turn the tv on and off. Sam thought it was so cute until she started doing during it during football games. It wasn't as cute then!
