Santa Claus Is In Town!

We made our annual trek to visit Santa at Brookwood Mall. I can not even begin to describe the excitement & anticpation Kate had for Santa. She was thrilled to be able to tell him all that she wanted for Christmas.

When we headed to church this morning, I'm not sure who was more excited about finally being able to wear/dress Kate in Christmas clothes - me or Kate. Such a fun weekend with Thanksgiving, getting our Christmas tree and finishing the long weekend off with brunch after church and a visit with Santa. Love the holidays!

More from Turkey Day!

After lunch at the Compton's, we had Thanksgiving dinner with the McWhorter clan at Mamaw & Papaw's house. It was good to see all the new babies, enjoy another great meal, and playing with all the McWhorter cousins.

Happy Thanksgiving

We headed up to Moulton for Thanksgiving with Sam's family. Of course it would not be a trip to Gran & Papa's house without lots of swinging! We had lunch at Grandmama Compton's house with all of the Compton family. Kate had a blast with teaming up with Caroline to chase Reed around and learning to climb trees!

Pajama Day!

Kate was so excited about school this morning for Pajama Day! She couldn't wait to wear her Christmas pjs and take her singing Christmas dog for "Show & Tell." They had a special day planned for the kids at school - Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie and a special morning snack! Woo hoo!

Anna Kate had her 4th birthday at Sports Blast this morning. With a large indoor soccer field for the kids to play on and a bouncing castle, the kids were wiped out by the end!

Disney on Ice

Kate and I met up with her friend, Reese, and her mom on Saturday for Disney On Ice. We had a blast seeing Mickey and the gang "roller" skate as Kate would say. The stars from Lion King, Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stich, and Peter Pan all made appearances. Lots of fun!

Happy Halloween

Kate continued with her princess theme from last year (Cinderella) and was Sleeping Beauty this year. She was so excited about trick or treating and getting lots of candy, she could hardly stand it! We met up with our neighbors, the Carters, and Kate and Curren had a blast getting lots of loot. Curren was such a big help to Kate -she would run as fast as she could from house to house, but whenever there was a doorbell that she couldn't reach, Curren was right behind her to save the day and reach it for her! :)
