Field Trip

I went with Kate on her first field trip to the Birmingham Zoo . It was so much fun to see her with all her friends from school. By the end of the day, I think the parents were more wiped out than the kids.

Kate's been helping me water the flowers lately and helping Sam with bug & snake control. She has quite the little green thumb!

Trying New Things

Kate got lots of fun presents for her birthday and loved trying them all out. One of her favorites is painting & kite flying. Unfortunately, we somehow broke the kite the first morning we tried playing with it. Boo! We'll have to get another one for the next big windy day.

She's been telling people recently that she wants to be a singer or an "arter" (artist).

Let's Get This Party Started!

Kate could hardly wait for her Pajama Party to start! Judging by all of the giggles, screams & squeals, I think all of the little girls had a good time. Thanks to everyone who came & helped out with the party!

After realizing how much energy 10 little girls had, we decided to go ahead and just let them play in the backyard! They invaded Sam's cornhole game and had a ball hitting each other with the bean bags!

Pajama Party!

I managed to take a bunch of pictures before Kate's pajama party. She was so excited for her friends to come and get the party started!

Just another night!

Kate has swim lessons twice a week for the month of April after work & school which makes for wild Monday/Wednesday nights. Just another hectic night on our way out the door to swim with a microphone & her special "egg wand" from her Easter birthday. The stickers on her hands, bandages on knees & tutu bathing suit all work well together! :) We are quite the site when we roll into the Hoover Rec.

Easter Lunch

The James' had us over for Easter lunch after church for some great food, an Easter egg hunt & more birthday celebration for Kate. She absolutely adores her cousins!

After the birthday presents were opened and sampling the candy the Easter bunny brought, we headed off to Easter service.

Birthday Pictures

I took Kate to the the train park this afternoon to get a few pictures for her 4th birthday. I managed to get some sweet pictures with the help of Sam standing behind me making her giggle. I love this sweet girl!
