Trick or Treat!

Kate, aka Cinderella, had so much fun on Halloween. She was beside herself that all she had to say was "Trick or Treat" and people gave her candy! Cinderella was definitely on a sugar-high for most of the night!

Checking out the loot!

Pumpkins!

Last year since Kate was little and didn't know any better, I painted pumpkins instead of carving them. So this year was such a fun & messy new experience for Kate. She kept announcing, "Those are some gooey pumpkins" when we were cleaning out the pumpkins. She was so proud of her smiley face pumpkin & owl pumpkin that she couldn't stop checking them out all night.

Covenant Classical Halloween Party

The Beginner I class had their Fall Festival Party on Friday at school. Kate's little class was so cute all dressed up for Halloween. She absolutely loves all her friends at school and was so excited to wear her Cinderella dress to school.

Hometown Fair

Gran and I took Kate to the annual Hometown Fair in our neighborhood last weekend. She could not get enough of the inflatables, especially, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse blow-up. Kate loved riding the rides and going down the slides.

The Animal Zoo

Since it was so nice over the weekend, we took Kate to the "Animal Zoo" as she calls it. I guess it had been a while since we took her to the zoo, because she screamed (literally screamed) and squealed when she saw the animals. She had so much fun and we ran it Reese and her parents while we were there.

The Great Pumpkin Patch

Sam and I took Kate to The Great Pumpkin Patch on Saturday. She was so much more into things this year - it's amazing what a difference a year makes. Last year, we just picked our pumpkins, rode the wagon and took pictures. This year, we did just about everything! We first rode the wagon out to the pumpkin patch and picked two perfect pumpkins, then headed for the Inflatable Park. Kate is all about doing things herself lately, so she wanted to do the huge inflatable slides all by herself and she is such a little daredevil! She looked so little compared to all the other kids. After doing the inflatable slides and bouncing castles, we moved on the the livestock. Kate loved the pony rides and would do it all day if she could. We had so much fun at the pumpkin patch despite the 90 degree day in October! Can't wait until next year.

Happy 4th Birthday Laura Ann!

We celebrated Laura Ann's 4th birthday yesterday. She had a Candy Shop-themed birthday and all of the kids loved it! Aside from the cake, we could not keep Kate away from the Princess Bouncing Castle. She would bounce nonstop if we could let her. Thanks for a "sweet" party Laura Ann! Happy Birthday!
