Last night at Magic Kingdom

After lunch at Hollywood Studios and a quick nap at the resort (first nap in 3 days for Kate!), we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to enjoy the last few hours of the day. We hit all of Kate's favorite rides one last time and enjoyed the fireworks at Cinderella's Castle. We were all worn out from the past three days, but so sad leave! Can't wait to start planning our next trip back!

One last ride on Dumbo!

Hollywood Studios

We took advantage of the "Extra Magic Hours" at Hollywood Studios on our last day. Kate had a blast playing in the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" playground, taking in a few shows (Beauty & the Beast was great!), and riding Toy Story Mania!

Sunrise Breakfast

When I first booked the Chef Mickey breakfast at the Contemporary Resort at 7:20 am (the only available reservation), I didn't think much of it. I just assumed that we would be up and going with a 2 1/2 year old. I didn't, however, take into consideration, the time it takes to get to one resort from another. So for Chef Mickey, we were at the bus stop at 6:45 am (5:45 central time) and just barely made it there on time to catch the bus. It was an extremely early morning especially for our last day of the Disney whirlwind tour! Sam was not happy about this early morning wake-up call! :) However as with all of the character meals, Chef Mickey was lots of fun and a great way to start our last day in Orlando!

REALLY checking out Pluto!

Lunch with Friends

We had lunch at the Crystal Palace with Pooh, Tigger, Piglet & Eeyore. I don't know if we were just starving or the food was just that good, but we had a great lunch with all of the friends from the Hundred Acres Forest.

Day 2 at Disney

We spent our second day at the Magic Kingdom which did not disappoint. We saw the parades (multiple times - Kate loved them!), had a fun lunch with a few "friends", and rode lots of rides! Of all of them, Kate definitely said Dumbo was her favorite! I think Peter Pan, Pooh, and Small World all ran a close second!

Dinner with the Princesses

We had dinner the first night at the Royal Akershus Banquet Hall in Epcot. Kate was all decked out for the occasion and was beside herself when she first saw Belle. Once we were seated at our table, she quickly got into the swing of things when all of the Princesses visited at her table. She was so excited to get autographs in her book!

We're Going to Disney World!

Sam surprised Kate & I for Christmas with a trip to Disney World. For a little over a month, we have been planning and anticipating all that Disney had to offer! The past month seemed like an eternity to Kate. We spent the first day at Epcot since we had dinner reservations there. We rode the Nemo ride, did Turtle Talk with Crush, rode in the Epcot "Ball", saw Mickey & Friends at the Epcot Character spot, and rode the boat rides in both Mexico and Norway. Whew! What a fun first couple of hours!

Couldn't wait for the bus to come to take her to the parks!

Happy New Year!

All Tangled Up

We took Kate to see her first movie, Disney's Tangled, and as you can see, she was glued to the big screen! This was her expression throughout most of the movie.
