See Ya Mickey!

So sad to leave this morning! We had a great trip. Thanks for a great time Mickey!

Last Night At Disney

On our last night, we ate dinner at Boma so we could check out the Animal Kingdom Lodge. After dinner, we walked around the resort and checked out some of the animals on the savannah. Then we headed back over to the Magic Kingdom for one last round of our favorite rides and fireworks.

Last Day at Hollywood Studios

We were up early and ready to make the most of our last day at Hollywood Studios. Again, Kate was big enough to ride Star Tours which was a great ride! I think I heard, "This is so much fun" at least three times during it. We also hit our favorites: Toy Story Ride, Little Mermaid Show & Beauty and the Beast. One show Kate didn't like was the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. We kept telling her that it was all pretend.

An Evening At Epcot

We had a great dinner at Via Napoli in Italy, then followed it up by another night of rides in Epcot. Kate is finally tall enough to ride a few of the "big kid" rides and we had a blast doing a little more thrill rides. Kate took her first thrill ride on Test Track. She absolutely loved it until the very end, then she was not so sure about it. She put on a brave face though. We also got to ride Soarin' which was awesome! Definitely a favorite among all three of us.

Getting ready for Test Track! Woohoo!

End of the day delirium!

Day 3

After the Castle breakfast, we spent the day at Magic Kingdom again. It was nice that we were already inside the park and at the rides as soon as it was open.

Gettin' crazy on the PeopleMover ride.

An Empty Kingdom

One of the perks of having early breakfast reservations in Cinderella's Castle is that we got to get into the Magic Kingdom before the park opened and it gave me a chance to get a few pictures without all of the crowds. It was really nice to stroll through the park without having to dodge all the people, strollers and motorized scooters!

Magical Breakfast

We had one last surprise for Kate during our trip. She thought her surprise was just being able to wear her Sleeping Beauty dress in the Magic Kingdom. Little did she know she was going to eat in Cinderella's Castle with the princesses!

Her favorite princess has always been Sleeping Beauty

Dinner with Cindy & The Tremaines

After Animal Kingdom, we headed back to our room for a quick nap then over to the Grand Floridian for dinner with Cinderella and the Tremaines. I have to say that this was the best character interaction of all of our character meals. The Step Sisters were hilarious! Anastasia loved Kate's dress so much that she screamed across the restaurant, "Mother, Mother, I want a 'polka spot' dress just like hers. Why can't I have one?" Drizilla told Kate, "Thank goodness you wore colors like me, instead of that Cinderella." They were all a hoot. Cinderella was so sweet and Prince Charming was a goober, but Kate liked him. Ha! After dinner we headed over to Epcot to get a few rides in before calling it a day.

Day 2...Animal Kingdom

After Chef Mickey, we headed over to Animal Kingdom for the day. The definite highlight of the day was the Kilimanjaro Safari ride. We were so excited that we got to ride it twice that morning. Kate also loved the Lion King Show & Flights of Wonder Show. Sam got to sneak off and ride Expedition Everest roller coaster while Kate & I went to the Flights of Wonder show since she wasn't tall enough.

Loved the Safari!

Chef Mickey

We started out Thursday morning with a fun breakfast at Chef Mickey. Kate got a chance to dine and get pictures with the Fab 5. Fun way to start day!
