Happy Birthday Grandmama!

Kate and I met Grandmama and Tim out for lunch today to celebrate Grandmama's birthday yesterday. Needless to say, Kate loves mexican food. She insists on dipping her own chips in her own bowl of salsa just like everyone else. She manages to always end up with her own personal bowl of salsa because she's quite the double- & triple-dipper! Kate was taken back with the lights and the pinatas hanging from above. She mentioned the lights just about every 5 minutes or so. Hope you had a great birthday Grandmama.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! It seems like we've been celebrating Valentine's Day since Thursday. Kate has been getting presents everyday between school and all of the grandparents.

Today's Forecast: SNOW

We had a short school/work day due to a couple inches of snow in Alabama. After Sam got home and Kate woke up from her nap, we all bundled up and headed into the snow. Kate loved squishing the snow under her feet and throwing snowballs. I think Mattie had the best time out of all of us!

Valentine's Day Party

Kate had her Valentine's Party at school today and here are some before/after pictures from daycare. I left in a hurry to pick her up from school due to the snow we got in Birmingham and forgot to grab my camera on the way.

Valentine's Package

Grandpa and Linda sent a Valentine's present in the mail to Kate. She loves her singing monkey and the Tinkerbell card. She's been walking around the house making monkey sounds ever since the opened the package! Thanks for the gifts!
