Birthday Fun at McWane

Cannon's 2nd birthday party was the McWane Science Center. I think all of the kiddos had a blast! After the birthday party, we headed up to the third floor to the "Itty Bitty Magic City" and three little girls (Kate, Claire & Anna Kate) had lots of fun. The squeals that came out of Kate were priceless. We can't wait to go back to McWane!

Diary of a Daycare Kid

As any parent that takes their child to daycare knows, when they pick them up in the afternoon, it looks like the child has rolled around in food & dirt all day. Kate is no exception! I took a few pictures of us playing this afternoon after work/daycare. This explains the dissheveledness of my child in these pictures. Surprisingly enough, the camera didn't pick up all of the stains on Kate's shirt! Anyways, we are loving all of the outside time with the warmer weather and longer days.

A little Easter surprise

Kate had a package from the Easter Bunny (aka Grandpa & Linda) waiting on her when we got home today. Note to self: just get Kate the Easter grass that goes in the Easter baskets. She had more fun throwing it all over the place, including nailing Sam in the face with it. She got the biggest kick out of covering him with it! Thanks Grandpa & Linda for giving us lots of laughs on an otherwise typical Monday!

Enjoying the Sunshine

Between yesterday and today, our second home has been the park and the driveway. Kate has been to the park four times in two days! We can't get enough of this wonderful weather. Too bad it ends tomorrow. It was so nice while it lasted. (Kate loves her "shades".)

Three little rascals

Kate and I went to the James' house for Sunday dinner. Kate hadn't seen her cousins since Christmas and, boy, has she missed them! They were cooking up a storm in Laura Ann's kitchen. She feels like such a big kid when she's around them. Thanks Haley & Dan for a great meal and lots of fun!

Hey there...It's been a while

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been so caught up in the daily grind that I've neglected my camera & blogging. With spring around the corner, we're looking forward to being outdoors and lots more pictures! I snapped a few pics after church today. Kate used to sit and pose for me, but not anymore! She's non-stop and I'm just thankful 2 of the pictures turned out.
