I finally got around to getting Kate's 2 year pictures taken. Kate was all over the place during the shoot and yet, Erin always seems to get great pictures of her! Thanks Erin for capturing the many personalities of my non-stop 2 year old!

A Nice Surprise

After a long, stressful week of work and being a single parent with Sam out of town, I came home Friday night to not one, but two bouquets of birthday flowers! Many thanks to my sweet husband and sweet sister for thinking of me! It absolutely made my day!

The Bedtime Fairy

Every night before bedtime, Kate puts on her tutu and puts all of her babies night-nights around her room.

Beach Trip - Day 2

Gran, Papa & the James' made it down to the beach on Saturday. Kate thinks she's such a big girl around her cousins. The three of them did so good and let us take some sweet pictures on the beach.

Beach Trip

We went to Gulf Shores over the weekend for the annual Compton beach trip at Gran & Papa's place. Kate wore herself out during the first day at the beach. She ran non-stop chasing birds, collecting seashells, building sand castles, and darting into the water. She over did it on the first day and was worn out the rest of the trip!

She was delirious by dinner time & asleep at 5:30 for the night.

Randoms

We were supposed to head back to the Regions Golf Tournament on Sunday, but it rained off and on all day so we opted for playing in the driveway instead. Here's a few pictures of Kate and Mattie.

Happy Birthday Wyatt

What a busy Saturday! After spending all morning at the Regions Golf Tournament, we headed to Cherub's Clubhouse for Wyatt's 2nd birthday party. Kate had lots of fun playing with some of her friends from school, the slides and eating an Elmo Cake. Happy birthday Wyatt!

"Bo knows...."

"Bo knows Les!" Sam's cousin, Les, won a drawing to be a caddy during the Pro-Am for the Regions Charity Classic. He was slotted to be Bo Jackson's caddy, but just before it started, they switched him to Jay Barker since Les was decked out in Alabama gear. Too bad, but I know Les & Sam had great time at the Pro-Am!

Happy Mother's Day!

Over the river & through the woods...

...to Gran & Papa's house. We decided to make a quick trip to Moulton to visit with Gran and Papa Saturday morning. Gran made us a great lunch and we also got to visit with Mawmaw & Pawpaw (Kate's great grandparents). Kate loved checking out the garden and of course, no trip would be complete with out the tree swing. She still is talking about swinging at Gran & Papa's.

Rainy Weekend

Last weekend, we had lots of storms and bad weather so, we had LOTS of indoors time. Kate had the entire weekend to take care of all of her babies. They all were strolled around the house dozens of times and put "night-nights" every couple of minutes. She's such a good mommy!
