Easter Program

Kate's class was so funny during the Easter program! She definitely took advantage of the spotlight with her singing & dancing during the program. She would not stop bouncing/dancing during the songs. At one point, she even told Jacob, who was standing on one side of her and not getting into it, that "you really need to be doing this, silly goose." I wonder where she gets her bossy, outspoken personality?? She has already started asking how long until they can sing in the Christmas program... this child loves the spotlight!

Happy Birthday Price & Reeves!

These sweet little cousins decided to celebrate their 3rd birthdays together at Wald Park. What a fun park! After the party, we went back to Price's house for some pizza and backyard playing which included a trampoline - a big hit with the kiddos! Kate was excited for the Browns to stay at our house which gave Kate & Blake more time to pack in some late night fun.

Two little monkeys! This little slumber party didn't last long - Kate & Blake were too excited to sleep in the same room.

Round One

It seems like we never stop at our house, but this weekend was especially busy. On Saturday, we had two birthday parties, dinner, and friends staying with us over the weekend. What a fun & exhausting weekend! I think we all took a three hour nap at our house on Sunday to recover and get ready for Monday to roll around.

Our first party was at A Play Place in Trussville. It was the first time we had ever been there and lots of fun. Kate had fun playing with lots of little friends from school.

It's Just Around the Corner...

Before I picked Kate up from school on Friday, I had gotten out most of our Easter decorations and had a fun night planned. After a quick dinner at Frontera, she was so excited to come home to find her Easter basket out with her Easter bunnies/books. She was also such a great helper in decorating our Easter egg tree. Kate thought she was being so sneaky snagging some candy when she thought no one was looking. She is so much fun with how she gets into each holiday!
