Another Year Older

Another year, another birthday. However, Sam made sure this 33rd birthday was really special. I woke up to a sweet little 4 year old wishing me a "Happy Birthday." After a birthday lunch with my sister, a visit from my mom, & presents & cake with Sam & Kate, it was a really special day. Kate has been so excited about giving me the card she colored for me, she could hardly stand it. It was such a nice day and I really appreciate all the friends & family who made it special!

Obligatory Family Pictures at the Beach

The kids dread this every year and now that I think of it, so do the husbands. Unfortunately for them, the mamas must get group pictures at the beach each year. It seemed pretty quick & painless this year, so everyone was happy.

Last Day of Beach Fun

On our last day at the beach, we made the most of it by spending the morning on the beach and the afternoon at the pool.

Day 2 is pretty self-explanatory...pool & beach time. Oh, and three really tired kids by the day's end!

Off To The Beach

We headed down to Gran & Papa's beach house for Memorial Day weekend. As soon as we jumped out of the car & grabbed some lunch, it was off to the pool & beach for the day.

All it takes for these two are coloring books & crayons for hours of playing!

Fun At The Firestation

Wyatt had a fun fireman 4th birthday party. The kids got to climb into the fire trucks, run around the firestation & concluded the party at the park next door for some food, cake & fun! Happy 4th Birthday Wyatt!

Mother's Day

After a long travel day from Arkansas back to Birmingham, I was so happy to spend the last few hours of Mother's Day with my sweet girl. Sam and Kate were so sweet to surprise me with flowers and a present (even wrapped & a bow tied around it!) Love, love, love my sweet Kate. She is truly the greatest gift Sam and I could have ever received.

Mama's Gone Fishing

For my dad's 60th birthday, I headed up to meet up with everyone on the White River in Arkansas. The White River was so pretty and very relaxing. I had never really fished before, so I was proud of myself for catching 2 brown trout and a handful of rainbow trout.

Batter Up!

We headed to the ballpark in Trussville to catch Daniel's last game of the regular season. Kate was so excited to watch & cheer on Daniel. Between a great win, playing on the playground, and ring-pops for everyone, it was a great time! After the game, Kate asked if you could get a baseball glove like Daniel's, but only she wanted a pink glove. On the way home, I needed to make a quick stop at Target, and low and behold, Sam & Kate found a pink glove! I am not sure who was more excited about it, Kate or Sam.

Kick Off to Summer

The Etheridge's were so gracious and had us all over for a cookout & lots of playing for the kids. It made us realize that we have got to do this more often!
