Santa left a little surprise for Kate since he was in town for the Christmas festivities in our neighborhood. He sent one of his trusty little elfs to our house to keep an eye on everyone. "Buddy the Elf", named by Kate, reports each night to Santa in the North Pole on whether Kate has been good each day. I don't know if it's been the influence of Buddy or that we're getting over the "terrible two's", but Kate's behavior has been much improved over the last week!
