Our neighborhood held their annual "Lighting of the Tree" tonight. Since we had already invited some friends to join us and Kate was feeling a little better, we decided to enjoy some of the festivities for a little bit. As always, the Deer Valley Elementary choir put on a cute show, followed by Santa's arrival and fireworks. Unfortunately, since Kate was still under the weather, we didn't get a chance to do the sleigh rides with the Clydesdale horses or the Ferris Wheel (the lines were outrageous!), but we did manage to locate the bouncing castle for some jumping.
